Oscar Berglund, CEO
Oscar joined Trustly in 2010 when he was elected to the Board. He became Chief Financial Officer in 2013 and was appointed CEO in 2016. He started his career at Goldman Sachs in Investment Banking, based in London and Moscow. From 2007 to 2012, Oscar was a portfolio manager at Alpcot Capital Management, where he was part of the team that developed Europe’s first actively managed ETF. Oscar holds a Masters in Science from the Stockholm School of Economics.
Sara Berg, COO
Sara joined Trustly in 2012 as Chief Legal Officer and in 2018, was appointed Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2012, she was a senior associate at the Swedish law firm Delphi with a focus on M&A and corporate commercial law. During 2004–2005, she was a law clerk at the Stockholm District Court. Sara holds a Master of Law degree from Umeå University. Sara also sits on the board of Signicat, a digital identity and electronic signature solution.
Jonas Palmquist, CFO
Jonas was appointed Chief Financial Officer at Trustly in 2015. He joined us from Scope Capital Advisory, a venture capital company that focuses on creating growth at companies through rapid international expansion, where he was a partner. Prior to that, he worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. Jonas holds a Masters in Science from the School of Economics and a Masters in Science from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, as well as a CEMS MIM. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Per Lejontand, CTO
Per began at Trustly in 2013. After several years as the Head of Architecture, he was appointed the Chief Technology Officer in 2018. Before Trustly, Per worked as the Chief Server Side Architect at Vizrt Sweden and as a consultant at Diversify where he primarily worked with blocket.se and where he met two of Trustly’s founders. Per studied computer science at Umeå University.
Rune Gyldenlove, CDO
Rune joined Trustly in 2019. He spent 2011-2019 in online gambling as Head of Development for Kambi (2011-2017) and later at SG Digital as VP Engineering, Casino and Platform. He brings extensive experience in scaling global engineering teams, as well as a sound understanding of how to apply lean and agile thinking in growing organizations.
Johan Nord, CBO
Johan joined Trustly as Chief Commercial Officer in 2015. Before joining Trustly, he was most recently Director of Corporate & Investment Banking at Société Générale. Johan has 10 years of international experience in strategy consulting, investment banking and private equity, focusing primarily on the Nordic and UK financial services sectors. Johan holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Masters of Science from the Stockholm School of Economics.
Ulrika Falkenberg, CHRO
Ulrica was appointed Trustly’s Chief Human Resources Officer in 2016. She joined us from Swedish wine company Oenoforos, where she was Deputy CEO. Between 2005 and 2015, Ulrica held a number of positions at Alumni/Harvey Nash, including as Managing Director and consultant on organization, leadership and Executive Search. Ulrica holds a Masters in Science from Lund University.
Johan Tjärnberg, Chairman | Founder, Bambora
In 2014, Johan founded Bambora, an international payments processor for in-store and online retailers. Following Ingenico’s acquisition of Bambora in July 2017, Johan served as Ingenico’s EVP Small & Medium Business and, until most recently, as EVP of Retail Business. Prior to founding Bambora, Johan served as CFO and later CEO of Point, a leading European payment services provider.
Fredrik Näslund, Board member | Partner, Nordic Capital
Fredrik is a Partner at Nordic Capital Advisory AB, advisor to Nordic Capital’s funds, responsible for Norway and Denmark, as well as Technology & Payments. In the past 15 years, Fredrik was involved in building Nordic Capital’s position as the leading private equity investor in Nordic technology and payments, as the responsible adviser for investments, such as Point, Bambora, Itiviti, CINT and Trustly. Before that, Fredrik held various senior positions in Capio. Fredrik holds a Master of Science in Engineering Physics from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg and a Master of Science in Business Administration from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg.
Måns Alfvén, Board member | Co-Founder, Alfvén & Didrikson
Måns has been on Trustly’s Board of Directors since 2011. He is the co-founder of investment firm Alfvén & Didrikson. Måns was previously the CEO of Dipylon Medical, a startup in medical technology equipment. He has also worked as Sweden’s Trade Commissioner in Australia. Between 1999 and 2004, he worked as a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. Måns holds a Masters in Science from the Stockholm School of Economics and has also studied at Wharton Business School, Pennsylvania, and at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
Daniel Berglund, Board member | Partner, Nordic Capital
Daniel is a Principal at Nordic Capital Advisory AB, advisor to Nordic Capital’s funds, where he focuses on investments in technology and payments. Before he began at Nordic Capital, he worked at Bain & Company, most recently as a Senior Associate. Daniel holds a Master of Science in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics and Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
Carl Wilsson, Board member | Co-Founder & VP Business Development
Carl is one of Trustly’s co-founders and is Vice President Business Development. Carl studied economics at the Stockholm School of Economics.
Peter Thorninger, Board member | Operations Principal, Nordic Capital
Peter is the Operations Principal at Nordic Capital Advisory AS, advisor to Nordic Capital’s funds. Peter holds a Master of Science in Political Science from Aarhus University. In 2009-2016, Peter worked for Chr. Hansen A/S, a leading company in natural food ingredients, most recently as the Senior Vice President, Marketing and Sales. Before that, Peter was a consultant with the Boston Consulting Company in 2005-2009.
Erik Holm, Deputy member | Investment Manager, Nordic Capital
Erik is the Investment Manager at Nordic Capital Advisory AB, advisor to Nordic Capital’s funds. Erik holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Economics from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and has also studied at the National University of Singapore. In 2015-2016, he worked at Morgan Stanley as an analyst in the EMEA Technology Group in London.
Hjalmar Didrikson, Deputy member | Cofounder, Alfvén & Didrikson
Hjalmar Didrikson is co-founder of Alfvén & Didrikson, an active and long-term backer of passionate entrepreneurs and teams with international growth ambitions. He has been involved on the board of many of the company's investments including Trustly, Phoniro, Acast and Joint Academy. Prior to his work with Alfvén & Didrikson, Hjalmar was an investment manager at EQT in Stockholm and Warsaw and a corporate finance adviser with UBS Investment Bank in London. Hjalmar holds a M.Sc. from the Stockholm School of Economics with exchange studies at the MBA level at the New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
