Associate Financial Services Business Management

About the role

The Financial Services team at Trustly consists of 20 employees and serves our merchants
within the financial service area. It is one of Trustlys fastest growing verticals and a lot of
investment is being made into the vertical.

The Financial Services Business Management team comprises two people, reporting directly
into the VP Financial Services. The team defines and drives the overarching strategy for the
financial services business. The team also owns and drives key assets, such as the Financial
Services Value Proposition, Pricing Strategy, and Competitive Intelligence. The Business
Management team is crucial in enabling all the teams directly related to Financials Services
collaborate and operate effectively, including New Sales, Account Management, Marketing,
Product Solutions, and Partner Distribution. The Business Management team also supports the
distribution teams in handling positioning for key Merchants, including RFI/RFPs, and other key
Merchant deliverables.

As an Associate you will be:

  • Contributing to shaping the business strategy for Financial Services across segments and geographies, spanning all key areas and functions
  • Managing key assets that support the Sales processes, including the Value Proposition and Pricing Strategy
  • Supporting key Merchant opportunities throughout the Sales process, including driving RFI/RFPs, writing Merchant proposals and other related activities
  • Staying up-to-date with all the industry trends and news, looking to identify how Trustly‚Äôs product could be relevant to any developments, and undertaking any necessary
  • Internal/external research
  • Driving strategic projects and initiatives

Who you are:

  • A Management Consultant with 3+ years experience, ideally with experience in pricing and/or payments
  • A self-starter willing to work in a fast-paced environment with limited formal structure
  • You will be interested by merchant business models and identifying how they generate revenue
  • You will have experience researching industries and mapping markets
  • You will have produced client facing presentation materials
  • Experienced doing market or industry research
  • Comfortable using annual reports and financial statements to identify and calculate value creation
