Information about Trustly’s handling of personal data when applying for a job with Trustly 

At Trustly, we value your privacy. It is therefore important for us to inform you of how we collect and process personal information about you when you interact with Trustly. The purpose of this information policy is to set out the principles governing Trustly 's processing of your personal data provided to us when you apply for a job with Trustly via our website. 

Trustly Group AB (org.nr 556754-8655) is the data controller of the personal data that is submitted by you through our website. Trustly works hard to protect your privacy and always processes your personal data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. 

When you apply for a job with Trustly via our website, we will ask you to provide us information about yourself. This information will include your name, telephone number, e-mail address and the information you include in the CV and personal letter you attach to your application. We ask you to provide this to us for the purposes of managing and evaluating your application. The legal basis for processing your personal data is our so-called legitimate interest under the GDPR for the purposes of managing and evaluating your application. 

The information you provide will be reviewed by our recruitment team including other relevant employees as necessary to evaluate your application. We may also share the information you provide with third parties, acting on our behalf and only according to our instructions, when we manage your application. Such third parties will for instance store the information you provide.

Trustly, and any third parties as applicable, will store information about you for a period of up to two years after the recruitment process has been completed. The retention period is based on the time under which a candidate can initiate proceedings against Trustly, questioning the outcome of the recruitment process. Trustly may also store information about you if our recruitment team deems that your profile may be of interest for coming open job positions for the purpose of contacting you in such a case, unless you object to this by sending an email to dpo@trustly.com

As an individual you have certain rights regarding our processing of your personal data, including a right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish data protection supervisory authority.
